Smart Guy Math is an online tutoring service operated by BLUE SALAMANDER WEB MARKETING (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through smartguymath.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it short and plain.

Information we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. When you use the contact form, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• The subject you select and the message you write

If website analytics are enabled now or in the future, we may also collect basic, aggregate information about how visitors use the site — such as pages visited and general device or browser type. This kind of analytics data is not used to personally identify you.

How we use your information

We use the information you send to:

• Respond to your tutoring inquiry
• Discuss scheduling and arrange lessons
• Provide customer service

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide a phone number and check the SMS consent box on the contact form, we use your number and that consent only for tutoring-related communication — responding to your inquiry, scheduling, reminders, and customer service.

• Your phone number and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
• Standard message and data rates may apply.
• You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages.
• You can reply HELP for assistance.

Providing a phone number and agreeing to text messages is optional. You can contact us without opting in to SMS.

How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the tutoring service and this website, and only as needed for them to provide their service. These may include:

• Netlify — website hosting and contact-form processing
• Our email provider — to receive and reply to your messages
• Quo — our telephone and text-messaging provider for calls and SMS
• Stripe — to process payments, if and when you choose to pay online
• Analytics services — if and when analytics are enabled

Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy and security practices.

Students under 18

Tutoring often involves students who are minors. If you are contacting us about a student under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian be involved in the arrangements. We use any student information only to provide tutoring.

Data retention and security

We keep the information you send for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide tutoring, and keep ordinary business records. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices
